Nice to meet you

Today we are introducing Stijn Bazuin. I will turn 28 this month. Since 2,5 years I am working with HEC as an account manager. My main focus in the Southern European market plus the United Kingdom.

My passion for my job started actually at a very young age, where I was busy making new friends and try to make them happy. Nowadays this is still the case, I am satisfied when our business partners get the most suitable material for their production process delivered to them in time.

During my study Commercial Economics at the University of applied Sciences in Nijmegen I learned to convert my natural drive to make people happy to my employment. This drive is the reason why I chose to work for HEC. I feel that my way of work directly aligns with the vision of HEC, to build long term durable relationships rather than only transactional relationships.

Next to my job my hobbies are playing field hockey and have some drinks and food with my friends. I live together with my girlfriend, with whom I am together now for almost 8 years.

Introducing Stephan de Blauw

The HEC-Holland team keeps on growing. In May we welcomed our newest team member Stephan de Blauw. He will be working as our new Account Manager. We are happy to introduce him to you in the following article.

HEC-Holland new team member – Who am I?

Hello everyone, my name is Stephan de Blauw. I am 24 years old, living in Veenendaal but moving to Driebergen soon. In Driebergen my girlfriend and I found a cozy apartment, in which we are going to live together. In April I finished my bachelor of Commercial Economics and graduated at the University of Applied Sciences Arnhem and Nijmegen.
I would describe myself as an spontaneous, ambitious and loyal person who likes to achieve goals with others. I also enjoy building relationships with colleagues, customers and potential customers. Both of these things I started doing the day I arrived at HEC and I am for sure going to continue a lot more within the coming years. Besides work I enjoy playing and watching football (a lot), playing videogames with friends and chilling with friends (and maybe have a few beers).

My role within the HEC-team

My role within HEC will be Account Manager for a not yet specified area. In the coming months I will firstly work on my product and company knowledge, which is necessary to serve customers well. I’m doing this by helping out my colleagues and taking over the test cases. Gradually, I will also take over customers of my colleagues to make sure every customer gets the attention they deserve.

Thoughts for the future

Before I started here I never looked into the cable industry, but I was familiar with a quite similar infrastructure industry. Therefore, I think I will learn fast and I will make sure I’ll be ready to answer all of your questions as soon as possible. I am really looking forward to get to know the company better and more importantly get in touch with all of you.
