Moving from Goch to Tilburg
HEC-Holland is growing, evn during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. As our business is expanding, so does our need for more space and capacity. This is an opportunity to take our ambition to grow to the next step. The much larger warehouse in Tilburg is perfect for the ambition of HEC-Holland. And so a new chapter begins. In this new warehouse we are able to place more slitting machines and store more products. In addition, the warehouse includes a large office space with all facilities, where we can meet our suppliers and customers. The location of our warehouse is fantastic, as it is just a few minutes from Barge Terminal Tilburg. Moreover, Tilburg has a direct train connection with central Europe and Asia. We are very happy with our new warehouse in Tilburg: the logistics hotspot of the Netherlands.
Expansion of production capacity
Our growth has also led to an expansion of our production capacity. We established our own slitting facility, initially focusing on waterblocking tapes. As demand continued to grow, we quickly moved towards full capacity and started looking for additional slitting machines.
We are also expanding our capabilities to include aluminum tapes. A new machine will allow us to slit aluminum tapes locally, giving us greater flexibility and enabling our production department to serve our customers even more efficiently.
The expansion of our production capacity is an important step in our continued growth and strengthens our ability to offer converting services close to our customers.
Expansion of our product assortment
Our growth is not limited to our physical facilities. Going from a warehouse in Goch to Tilburg also gives us the opportunity to continue in expanding our product assortment and strengthening our international supplier network.
Our colleagues in Shanghai play an important role in this process by developing relationships with new suppliers and partners. Their local knowledge, language skills and understanding of the culture help us build strong and lasting relationships.
At the same time, we have been investing in our ERP system to support our growing organization and make our processes more efficient.
With our new location in Tilburg, expanded production capabilities and growing product range, HEC-Holland is well positioned for the next stage of its development.
