Job summary

As an all-round financial employee, you are responsible for, among other things:

  • Processing and sending purchase and sales invoices, bank statements, and other financial documents,
  • Following up on customer payments, managing supplier payments, and filing quarterly and annual tax returns,
  • Preparing and processing payroll payments and drafting periodic financial reports, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets,
  • Preparing quarterly and management reports, preparing the accounting records, and monitoring budgets,
  • Drafting reminders, managing creditors, processing purchase invoices, and reconciling outstanding invoices,
  • Drafting commission notes and onward payments,
  • Filing tax returns and CBAM statements, and managing currency transactions,
  • Answering emails and managing the mailbox.

Requirements

We are looking for a driven and experienced professional who recognizes themselves in the following profile:

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience,
  • A completed MBO education,
  • Experience with financial software and accounting packages (Exact Online),
  • Numerical insight and accuracy,
  • Good communication skills in Dutch and English.

Furthermore, you are good at maintaining an overview, and you are honest, accurate, independent, and critical.

The head office is located in Arnhem and also has an office in Shanghai, China and a partner office in Seoul, South Korea. The company also has its own production/distribution center in Tilburg.

As a supply chain specialist, you work in the logistics department and maintain contact with customers, logistics service providers, and various clients. In this highly varied and challenging job, every day is different. You act as a link between the various departments and are responsible for the ongoing supply chain as well as the organization and coordination of inbound and outbound transport.

Job summary

  • Guiding and organizing the entire process from purchasing to delivery to the customer,
  • Processing and following up on incoming sales orders in the system,
  • Negotiating price agreements with carriers
  • Handling inquiries and complaints from both new and existing customers via email and telephone
  • Maintaining contact with sales support regarding rates,
  • Liaising with and maintaining external contacts: carriers, distributors, and suppliers,
  • Organizing transport for delivery to customers and own warehouses in Finland, Sweden, and the Netherlands,
  • Monitoring delivery times and informing customers and carriers of any delays or changes,
  • Maintaining inventory,
  • General administrative tasks in software including Exact,
  • Arranging customer clearance,
  • Taking on logistics projects/issues,
  • Production and transport planning
  • Daily contact with colleagues in the warehouse in Tilburg and colleagues in China,
  • Answering customer questions.

Requirements

We are looking for a structured and enthusiastic professional who recognizes themselves in the following profile:

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in a logistics field,
  • Relevant work experience in a similar position is a plus,
  • Good command of the Dutch and English languages,
  • Experience with Word, Excel, and the most common CRM systems (Exact is a plus),
  • Excellent communication skills.

As an International Accountmanager, you will work in the sales department, where you will learn all the ins and outs of HEC-Holland through a thorough onboarding program. During this program, you will rotate through all departments to gain a understanding of the company structure, product range, and market. Ultimately, you will be responsible for independently maintaining and further expanding the client base.
