Job description

As an international account manager you will work in the sales department where you will learn all the ins and outs of HEC-Holland through a thorough induction process. During this process you will go through all our departments to get to know the company structure, the range and the market well. Ultimately, you will be responsible for independently maintaining and further expanding the customer base within your own region (Germany-Austria-Switzerland). In the role of international account manager DACH you are an advisor for customers where you actively think about the solutions we can offer. You work closely together in a close-knit team of account managers to achieve company objectives.

Job summary

  • Independently carrying out sales and order planning;
  • Carrying out international marketing and sales processes;
  • Carrying out market research;
  • Preparing and participating in international seminars and trade fairs;
  • Planning appointments with existing and new customers;
  • Answering questions from both new and existing customers;
  • Visiting international customers in your work area or traveling within Europe;
  • Contributing to the marketing & communication activities for the newsletter and/or website;
  • Conducting discussions with buyers and technical specialists;
  • You are responsible for the strategic pricing policy, drawing up associated calculations and quotations for your product group.

Requirements

  • A completed HBO education in the area of commerce,
  • Excellent commercial and communicative skills,
  • Languages: Dutch and German, both oral and written, English is a pré,
  • You are curious and eager to learn,
  • Affinity with technology,
  • You are patient and are willing to invest in long-term sales processes where building a sustainable customer relationship is central.

The organization

HEC-Holland is a specialized distributor of raw materials and semi-finished products for the production of on- and offshore cable systems, mainly within Europe. The head office is located in Arnhem and also has an office in Shanghai, China and a partner office in Seoul, South Korea. The company also has its own production/distribution center in Tilburg. As well as 2 distribution centers in Finland and Sweden.

In the position of junior financial controller you bring connection and insight within the finance department and towards the successful organization. You invisible the financial course and make adjustments where necessary. You oversee risks, identify trends and analyze financial reports. You use this solution to facilitate further optimization of business operations.

Job summary

  • Preparing financial reports;
  • Provide financial advice to the management team;
  • Monitoring and safeguarding the financial results of the organization;
  • Evaluating the financial results;
  • Drawing up financial plans and budgets;
  • Maintain contact with the accountant;
  • Taking care of the financial administration in collaboration with the financial employee;
  • Taking care of tax matters, including VAT returns and audits;
  • Devising and implementing improvements for the financial administration;
  • Make proposals to improve cost control and insights into revenues;
  • Setting up the financial and commercial dashboard.

Requirements

  • A completed HBO education (in corporate economy, finance, accountancy or control);
  • Excellent knowledge of Exact;
  • The ambition and drive to improve financial processes;
  • Languages: Dutch and English, both oral and written;
  • Interested in working with driven and enthusiastic colleagues.

The position is for 32 to 40 hours per week. The salary depends on your education and experience and is between € 2,800 and € 4,000 gross per month on a full-time basis. There is also a good pension scheme and travel expenses scheme. You will work with a great team of colleagues where there is plenty of room for fun in addition to hard work.
