Job description

As a Sales Support Specialist, you are an essential link within our sales team. From our head office in Arnhem, you ensure that all sales processes run smoothly. You manage the daily correspondence, monitor the progress of ongoing commercial processes and ensure follow-ups. In addition, you support our Account Managers by coordinating the administrative and organizational side of customer processes. Your structured approach ensures that customers always have an excellent experience with HEC-Holland.

Job summary

  • Monitoring the progress of ongoing sales processes and customer testing.
  • Coordinating follow-ups and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Supporting Account Managers in drawing up quotes and price proposals.
  • Keeping customer data and project information up-to-date in our CRM system.
  • Identifying and resolving bottlenecks in sales processes.
  • Actively contributing to an efficient and successful sales team.

Requirements

We are looking for a structured and enthusiastic professional who recognizes themselves in the following profile:
 
  • A completed MBO or HBO education in a relevant direction, such as commerce, administration or communication.
  • Excellent command of the Dutch and English language in speech and writing; knowledge of German is a plus.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to set priorities.
  • Affinity with technology and interest in the cable industry is a plus.
  • Experience with working in a CRM system or administrative processes.
  • A proactive attitude and a customer-oriented approach.
  • The ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Accuracy and an eye for detail.
  • Working within a close-knit team that celebrates successes together.

HEC-Holland is a specialized distributor of raw materials and semi-finished products for the production of on- and offshore cable systems, mainly within Europe. The head office is located in Arnhem and also has an office in Shanghai, China and a partner office in Seoul, South Korea. The company also has its own production/distribution center in Tilburg. As well as 2 distribution centers in Finland and Sweden.

As an account manager Benelux+ you are part of the sales department and you go out to advise customers about products for their cable production. In this role you are both an advisor and a salesperson. You actively think along with the customers and thus offer the best solutions. When you start at HEC-Holland you go through an extensive induction program. You learn all the ins and outs of HEC-Holland in order to understand the organization, products and the market well. Ultimately you will be responsible for independently maintaining and further expanding the customer base within your own region. You will work in a close-knit team to realize your personal and company objectives together. The sales team consists of account managers and sales support specialists.

Job summary

  • Advising customers and collaborating with (technical) specialists to offer customized solutions,
  • Drawing up and executing sales and order planning, in collaboration with sales support,
  • Focus on key account management with the development of potential new accounts, Developing and implementing strategic plans per customer and product segment,
  • Setting up and expanding commercial sales processes,
  • Actively managing, expanding and visiting your customer portfolio,
  • Carrying out market research and analysis of market developments together with sales support to identify associated trends,
  • Preparing and participating in international seminars and trade fairs,

Requirements

  • You are patient and willing to invest in long-term sales processes in which building a sustainable customer relationship is central.
